A great survivor!
Very rare carved gilt wood corner bracket, mid 19th Century.
No real major losses apart from the centre top ribbon (see image) and possibly a few tiny nicks here and there, considering the age and construction of this it has survived very well indeed.
Some loss of wood to the rear as pictured but this cannot be seen.
Gilding is very good.
