18th Century French Walnut Stick Barometer

Very rare 18th Century Walnut box strung stick barometer by Claudy à Rouen, original paper dial marked Paris 1768 behind the original glass plate.

Polished brass pressure markers and fittings.

Case has had a little worm to the top pediment over the years but has been treated.

The mercury level has now been topped up to the correct measure 
Measures 100cm in height.
