The head-board with arcaded floral marquetry panels and small gargoyle-like figures flanked by bearded caryatids and central female figure and with projecting ears carved with fruiting vine, the lower part with biblical panels and a row of lozenges below, the roof with four large recessed marquetry panels and gothic cornice, supported by tapering posts with oversize bulbs and square plinths depicting Faith, Hope and Charity, the pedimented foot-board carved with portrait roundels and central Green Man face
